Igor Tudor, Tottenham Hotspur's new interim head coach, has declared there is "no time to find excuses" for the club's current struggles. Speaking for the first time since his appointment, Tudor emphasised that "nobody can accept" Tottenham's position in the Premier League table. He stressed that every player must deliver "something more, something extra" to reverse their alarming slide.
Tottenham currently sit 16th in the league, just five points above the relegation zone. The club has endured a "horrific" run in 2026, failing to win any of their eight Premier League matches since January 1. This poor form led to the sacking of former manager Thomas Frank after a 2-1 home defeat to Newcastle on February 10.
Tudor, appointed on February 14 until the season's end, aims to bring greater consistency and energise the squad. His first match in charge will be against rivals Arsenal on February 22.
