Scotland to begin Nations League campaign in Slovenia

Scotland will commence their 2026/2027 UEFA Nations League fixtures away to Slovenia on 26 September.

Scotland's men's national team will begin their 2026/2027 UEFA Nations League campaign with an away fixture against Slovenia. The match is scheduled for Saturday, 26 September 2026, with a 2pm kick-off time.

The draw for the competition's league phase took place in Brussels on Thursday, 12 February 2026. Scotland were placed in League B, Group B1, alongside Switzerland, Slovenia, and North Macedonia.

Following the opening match, Scotland will host Switzerland at Hampden Park three days later, on 29 September. Other group fixtures include an away trip to North Macedonia on 3 October, and a home match against Slovenia on 6 October. The final two group stage games are at home to North Macedonia on 13 November, and away to Switzerland on 16 November. The league phase of the UEFA Nations League will run from September to November 2026.
