Former Scotland defender Steven Pressley has identified Dundee centre-back Luke Graham as a candidate for the Premier League and international honours. Pressley, who works for Brentford as head of individual development, told BBC Scotland that the 21-year-old possesses the physical attributes and mentality required for the highest level. Graham has established himself as a regular starter at Dens Park this season after previous loan spells in the lower leagues.
According to BBC Sport, several clubs in England are monitoring the defender's progress. Pressley noted that Graham's height, speed, and left-footedness make him a rare profile in modern football. He suggested that the player could follow in the footsteps of other Scottish defenders who have successfully moved south. Dundee currently sit in the middle of the Scottish Premiership table. Graham signed a contract extension with the club in 2024 which runs until the summer of 2027. Pressley stated that the defender is currently one of the most consistent performers in Scotland.
