The Scottish Premiership title race has intensified following a dramatic week of fixtures. The top three clubs are now separated by just three points, creating a close contest for the league crown.
Rangers secured a crucial 4-2 victory over league leaders Hearts at Ibrox on Sunday. Hearts had led twice in the first half through Marc Leonard and Claudio Braga. However, a Youssef Chermiti hat-trick and a Michael Steinwender own goal sealed the win for Rangers. This result reduced Hearts' lead over Rangers to two points.
Celtic also staged a notable comeback, defeating Kilmarnock 3-2 at Rugby Park. They recovered from a two-goal deficit, with Julian Araujo scoring a 97th-minute winner. Fourth-placed Motherwell continued their strong form, beating Aberdeen 2-0.
As of Sunday, Hearts remain top with 57 points from 27 matches. Rangers sit second on 55 points, also from 27 games. Celtic are third with 54 points, having played 26 matches and holding a game in hand.
