Vitor Pereira has signed a contract to become Nottingham Forest's new manager, with the deal running until the end of next season. This appointment makes the Portuguese coach Forest's fourth manager of the current campaign.
Pereira takes over from Sean Dyche, who the club sacked early on Thursday morning following a goalless draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Dyche had been in charge for 114 days, succeeding Ange Postecoglou in October.
Forest currently occupy 17th position in the Premier League table, sitting three points clear of the relegation zone with 12 matches remaining. Nuno Espírito Santo was also dismissed earlier this season. Pereira previously managed Wolves and has a prior working relationship with Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis from their time at Greek club Olympiacos.
