England midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek suffered a head injury during AC Milan's 2-1 defeat by Parma in Serie A on Sunday.

AC Milan midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek left the pitch on a stretcher following a collision during a 2-1 loss to Parma. The former Chelsea player received treatment from medical staff after an accidental clash of heads with Parma's Botond Balogh. The incident occurred during the closing stages of the match at the Ennio Tardini Stadium.

According to BBC Sport, the 30-year-old appeared to lose consciousness briefly before paramedics carried him away. Milan medical staff will monitor the midfielder for signs of concussion over the coming days. The club has not yet provided a detailed update on his condition, per Italian media reports.

Loftus-Cheek moved to the San Siro in 2023 and has become a regular fixture in the Milan side. The defeat leaves Milan further behind the pace in the Serie A title race. Parma secured the victory with goals from Dennis Man and Ange-Yoan Bonny, while Christian Pulisic scored the lone goal for the visitors.
