Nottingham Forest have dismissed head coach Sean Dyche, making him the club's third managerial casualty this Premier League season.

Nottingham Forest sacked Sean Dyche in the early hours of Thursday, 12 February 2026, following a goalless draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday night. Dyche's tenure as head coach lasted just 114 days, having been appointed on 21 October 2025.

The club currently sits 17th in the Premier League table, three points clear of the relegation zone with 12 matches remaining. Under Dyche, Forest secured six wins from 18 Premier League fixtures. Their recent form saw only two victories in the last 10 league games, alongside an FA Cup exit to Championship side Wrexham.

Dyche is the third permanent manager to be dismissed by Forest this campaign, following Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou. The draw against bottom-placed Wolves, where Forest registered 35 shots without scoring, reportedly led to fan discontent at the City Ground.
