Rangers and Celtic have reached an agreement regarding away ticket allocations for their upcoming Scottish Cup quarter-final fixture. Celtic will receive the entire Bromloan Stand for the match on the weekend of 14 March, providing approximately 7,000 tickets to visiting supporters. This figure represents a significant increase from the roughly 800 tickets permitted during recent league meetings between the Glasgow rivals.
According to BBC Sport, the decision follows discussions between the two clubs and the Scottish Football Association. The Scottish Cup rules state that visiting teams are entitled to up to 20 percent of the stadium capacity, though safety considerations often limit this number. Police Scotland and local authorities have approved the revised arrangement for the cup tie.
While the clubs previously agreed to a 5 percent allocation for Scottish Premiership matches starting from the 2024-25 season, that plan remains delayed due to stadium works. This cup agreement exists independently of those league arrangements. The specific kick-off date and time remain subject to broadcast selections.
